Green Lung Studio is excited to continue their music series curated by Bassist Hannah Marks.

Zoh Amba is a saxophonist and composer from Tennessee. She has recorded and played with great sound painters like William Parker, Vijay Iyer, Matthew Shipp, Eric Harland, Marc Edwards, Cooper-Moore, and Francisco Mela. She just recorded her first record with Mr. William Parker and Francisco Mela expected to be released in early 2022.

Pianist, composer, producer and improviser Theo Walentiny grew up in an artistic home. His world of influences include Cecil Taylor, Charles Mingus, Toru Takemitsu and Flying Lotus. Along with playing across top venues in New York City, Theo has performed globally including placed such as Israel, Switzerland and China. He released his debut album ‘Looking Glass’ earlier this year, a collection of solo piano improvisations to critical acclaim. For this performance, Theo will be presenting a set of electronic music featuring live processing, improvisation and interplay with pre-recorded material. Meant to inspire cinematic imagery, this set will feature material from Theo’s upcoming sophomore album.
